A Young Woman Gets Arrested For "Drunk Driving," Talks To The Human Resources Manager, And Becomes Encouraged To Turn Her Life Around And Reclaim Her Self Worth

Jacquie was known at the office as a very conservative person who had a superb attendance record. She never went to any of the happy hours after work and it was recognized through the department that she was an incredibly spiritual person who regularly talked about the pitfalls regarding alcohol dependency and alcohol abuse in the U.S..

Try to imagine the surprise within the office when one Monday AM Jacquie did not show up for work and nobody had heard from her. The truth is, it wasn't until approximately 11:00 AM that the human resources department received a phone call regarding Jacquie from the local jail.

Just before completing their conversation, the Human Resources director informed Jacquie that it was very encouraging that she doesn't seem to have any long term alcohol effects. The Human Resources director claimed that this is important because according to some of the most recent alcoholism statistics and facts, the long term effects of alcohol not only ruin an individual's health, but that they can also ruin most, if not all close relationships the drinker may have.

Jacquie expressed her thanks to the Human Resources director for his caring and encouraging thoughts and then took the elevator to the company employee's assistance program go over her DUI arrest, her participation in hazardous and careless drinking drinking over the past weekend, and her interest to employ a "driving while intoxicated" lawyer to represent her "driving under the influence" case. After listening to Jacquie's narration, the physician that was part of the company employee's assistance program described Jacquie's immediate "game plan" that she needed to understand and follow.

First, she would have to take a DUI class to learn more facts and information about "driving under the influence". Second, she would also have to attend and alcohol abuse class to address her probable problem drinking. And lastly, it would be an especially wise thing to do if she were to talk to a DUI Attorney about her DWI arrest.
